“دعوة لمقاطعة “حوار المنامة

في كل سنة، يجتمع مسؤولون كبار وخبراء بارزون من مختلف البلدان العربية والأجنبية في العاصمة البحرينية المنامة للتباحث في شؤون الأمن والسلام في الشرق الأوسط، ومن المؤسف أن نجد من بين هؤلاء من يسعى جاهداً لخرق هذا الأمن وهدم هذا السلام بهدف إخضاع المنطقة لأجندته الاستعمارية التوسعية، فمنذ تطبيع الحكومة البحرينية مع الكيان الصهيوني، يستضيف «حوار المنامة» مسؤولي وداعمي الكيان عاماً بعد عام ليختلطوا بوفود الدول العربية والإسلامية، وليبثوا دعايتهم بين النخب السياسية والفكرية والتجارية من شتى أنحاء المنطقة، في الوقت الذي يرتكب هذا النظام المارق أبشع الجرائم بحق الشعب الفلسطيني وقائمة طويلة من البلدان المجاورة. إن إشراك الكيان الصهيوني في مثل هذا «الحوار» الإقليمي الرفيع يمنحه الغطاء الشرعي والاعتراف الضمني كدولة ذات مكانة في المنطقة، بينما تبرهن أفعاله على مقولة الشهيد غسان كنفاني بأن الحوار مع الكيان هو بمثابة «حوار السيف مع الرقبة»، لا سيما بعد أن طالت صواريخ الغدر عاصمة خليجية لتثبت بأن لا حدود أمام تفشي العدوان الصهيوني.

تضامناً مع ضحايا العدوان وصوناً لكرامتنا، يدعو «ائتلاف الخليج ضد التطبيع» إلى مقاطعة شاملة لـ«حوار المنامة» حتى يكف عن استضافة المسؤولين الإسرائيليين وممثلي اللوبي الصهيوني، حيث يطالب الائتلاف الحكومات العربية بعدم إرسال وفود رسمية لحضور المؤتمر، ويناشد ممثلي المجتمع المدني والأوساط الأكاديمية والقطاع الخاص في الدول العربية برفض دعوات المشاركة. 

Call to Boycott the Manama Dialogue

Every year, prominent officials and esteemed experts from the Arab countries and beyond converge in the Bahraini capital Manama to discuss issues of security and peace in the Middle East. Unfortunately, we find among them those who strive to violate this peace and undermine this security with the goal of subjugating the region to their colonialist and expansionist agenda. Since the Bahraini government normalized relations with the Zionist entity, the Manama Dialogue has hosted the latter’s officials and supporters year after year. They are permitted to mingle with the delegations of the Arab and Muslim countries, and spread their propaganda among political, intellectual, and commercial elites from across the region. All the while, this rogue regime commits the most heinous crimes against the Palestinian people and a long list of neighboring countries. Including the Zionist entity in such a high-level regional “dialogue” grants it legitimation and implicit recognition as a state of high standing in the region. The entity’s actions, however, affirm the statement of the martyr Ghassan Kanafani that dialogue with it amounts to “a conversation between the sword and the neck.” This became painfully evident after its missiles treacherously struck a Gulf capital, proving that Zionist aggression knows no bounds.

In solidarity with the victims of this aggression and in preservation of our dignity, the Gulf Coalition Against Normalization calls for a comprehensive boycott of the Manama Dialogue until it stops hosting Israeli officials and representatives of the Zionist lobby. The Coalition thus demands that Arab governments refrain from sending official delegations to the conference. Furthermore, it exhorts the representatives of civil society, academia, and the private sector in the Arab states to decline invitations to participate.
